2. The Fastback 9 is just as versatile as some of its big brothers too

Thermal binding is one of the more elegant
options out there when it comes to book binding, and the Fastback 9
makes it quick and easy. Here are a few good reasons to check out the
Fastback 9.

1. By all appearances, the Fastback 9 presents you with all of the power
and convenience that you have come to expect from the larger Fastback
binding machines, only at a much more affordable price. Coming it at
thousands less than the Fastback 15xs, the Fastback 9 offers the same
sort of speed and high quality finished products that the 515xs, does,
it just offers it for lower volume users, businesses and applications.
While the Fastback 9 is still not the least expensive machine on the
market, the type of binding style that it produces make it a great
solution for a businesses that need to have the ability to produce
perfect bound books on demand.

2. The Fastback 9 is just as versatile as some of its big brothers too,
with the ability to perform great looking binding in both the tape and
the hardcover styles. The Fastback 9 can be used with the entirety of
the venerated Fastback binding supplies and strips. This machine is able
to bind books that are up to 250 pages in length, the process is so
quick and easy (most books are bound in thirty to forty five seconds).
So if you want your business to be able to do a quick run of portfolios,
proposals, or annual reports, you will find that the the Fastback is
ready when you are.

3. This type of binding is something to consider in general because
typically, you can get the same number of books done in about a third of
the time that it takes to do most other types.

4. The Fastback 9 is a fairly versatile machine in that in can work with
glue strips that range in length from eight and a half inches to A4
size and everything in between (including, of course, as letter and
legal sizes). You can also use the Fastback 9 with two of the available
widths of strips (medium and narrow), and with both the L Strips and Lx
Strips from Powis Parker, and their BinderCovers and Halfback covers as
well. The machine works well with Fastback's new ImageStrips too, which
is offer you a little more creativity.

5. The Fastback 9 also works wonderfully with the Fastback FoilFast
printing system. This is the system that makes it possible to add a
metallic foil look to your book covers. It's the kind of thing you've
seen a hundred times and not known what it was (other than the fact that
it looked impressive). There are seven different colors of foil, so it
is pretty likely that you will be able to match your company logo.

6. The Fastback 9 is desktop ready, and is light, and easy to transport
around the office or store when not in use. This might be especially
handy for businesses where space is at a premium. With its purple and
metallic color scheme, we found the Fastback 9 to be a pretty darn
attractive machine as well.
